"whats been going on"

May 2012 - LMA Awards Dinner (Premier League Managers Association)...

SSL were responsible for all production for this event which we even supplied all power required for the huge temporary kitchen which had to feed 850 guests!

We had moving lighting in the reception area, courtesy of ten VL2000 spots, uplighters all around the outside edge of this huge space to put the LMA stamp on it.

The main room was lit using 8 Showtec Expression 33000 LED zoom washes, 10 Prolight Q-Colour LED stage washes, 10 ETC Source 4 spots, 24 Ipix BB4 LED battens, 24 Prolight Omni Tri 9 LED cans, 9 birdie uplighters and 24 generic LED uplighters.

We also supplied another 10 Prolight Q Colour washes for the Barclays VIP area upstairs....in Barclays blue...

The in-house truss layout means we had to deploy 6 different audio delay lines to keep the sound all coherent and easy to hear. The last of these delays meant that we had to have some custom brackets made in order to hang loudspeakers just under the mezzanine to reach the back rows of tables.

All PA cabinets are Martin Audio Blackline plus series, along with 8 of our own SSL self built units - Amplification was from Lab Gruppen.

Images were supplied by 2 10,000 lumen projectors for the two main screens projected from up on the mezzanine. A further 2 10ft x 7.6ft rear projection screens were also deployed using 6,000 lumens units.

We were tasked with showing all the nail biting last seconds of the Premiership League title which had taken place just the day before.

Lastly, we were also asked to supply sound for a five piece jazz band which sounded great through an HK Audio Elias PX system..........
